Gulf Coast for Kids

The Gulf Coast For Kids foundation is a volunteer based, non-profit organization that was established in 1992 by Johnny and Kim Beck.

The mission of the organization is to help the needy children through-out the Mississippi Gulf Coast Counties. This help may be in any form, but to date the focus has been to provide Christmas gifts, food, and clothing along with other essential health and comfort items.

Generally, the foundation seeks assistance in the form of requests for funds to support it's mission since most assistance is provided from Contributions and Sponsorships made by gulf coast businesses, citizens, and time donated by local Dentist and Optometrists.

However, we do have a number of Fund Raisers throughout the year, including our Annual Golf Classic and Silent Auction. Since 1992, Gulf Coast for Kids has provided more than 20,000 children with Christmas.

Gulf Coast For Kids views the family as the primary institution in which normal growth and development of children occurs. We believe it is necessary to empower families and communities to work in partnership with formal and informal service organizations to strengthen the child welfare system.

Every year our priority is improving the quality of life for children in need on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and that mission remains the same throughout our growth. Through donations, sponsorships and fundraising events and help from other Charity Organizations we reach out to as many children as possible.

The primary role of Gulf Coast For Kids is to furnish Christmas gifts, Dental, and Optometry needs with the assistance of caring hearts like so many of our sponsors.
